Desert Vista – Cinco, California – 2009IT'S A MESS WITHOUT YOUA deep melancholy permeates all forsaken structures. These single-exposure compositions invite the viewer to stand in the footsteps of former residents and reflect on the circumstances that led them to abandon their homes. Here in the desert, the real tragedy of fleeting dreams, loss, absence, and obsolescence is starkly contrasted against a stoically majestic terrain.
