This weekend marks the first of five art openings in the next two months. With one exception, all these exhibitions feature all new, never before shown images. That's exciting! But it also means I kinda need to get back to the printer in a minute here, so I’ll keep it brief.
First, I have a piece in BUNNYMANIA, hosted by the Museum of Animals and Society, curated by Peter Frank and Delia A. Cabral. Opening at Chungking Studio March 27-29, the show is a Pick of the Week at the LA Weekly.
As always, if it’s April, it’s Month of Photography LA. I have work in the REALITIES & CONCEPTS show opening April 9th, a submission-based exhibition curated by Meredith Marlay and organized by MOPLA and the Lucie Foundation (two great organizations that have been enormously supportive).
Then opening April 18th, for TWO DAYS ONLY, is MAGIC AND REALISM - a MOPLA-Featured Event, also at Chungking Studio. This two-person show with Bill Leigh Brewer is curated by much-adored art critic Shana Nys Dambrot. This will be a big night in Chinatown, with art openings at all the galleries on Chung King Road. If you can only make one of my shows, make it this one.

May 9 - June 8 is WATER WORKS II, an international juried exhibition at Porch Gallery in Ojai. I’m honored to have four images selected by jurists Peter Frank, John Yau, Juri Koll, and Heather Stobo.
And spring keeps springing into June, with HAUNTED LANDSCAPES, another juried exhibition featuring some talented friends at Art Share LA June 6-20. There, I’ll unveil for the first time infrared images from last year’s CARBON MIGRATIONS adventure in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. I know, right? Finally!
Okay, my printer is calling... Mark your calendars Exhibition Maniacs.
Hope to see you out there!
